“Selamat Hari Guru pda Yong…Abah…dan Abby… Adik mengajar sebagai NGO di sekolah sekolah ilmu yg adik berikan juga di hargai.”
– My Mama
Thank you, Mama.
And Selamat Hari Guru to everyone who have shared their knowledge to those around them so they can be better people.
I went to 7 schools, I don’t have great relationships with my teachers. But my best teachers are:
My Dad, my school of life, he is a lecturer in Universiti Pertahanan Nasional Malaysia (UPNM) and I think teaching is in his blood. He taught me patience and challenge me constantly to be smarter than him.
My Mother, my guardian, who taught me great work ethics and how to manage finances.
My sister Aniqah Husda who was a teacher for 20 years before she went into the Ministry of Education and still shares the values of a teacher to me and others.
My brother Muid Latif who taught me how to find opportunities to work with good mentors and always practising your craft.
My sister Afiqah Latif who taught me to accept and be open minded.
My brother Hafiz Latif who taught me how to be a sister and a parent.
My partner Lyla who taught me about loving unconditionally when I thought that is a myth.
My mentors who taught me how to use my potential and be better.
And all my friends who taught me acceptance and growth, how we accept each other while growing up to be a better version of ourselves.
Selamat Hari Guru, semua!
